Gym to Crag - Anchor Building

Not all outdoor fixed sport anchors are the same. Sometimes there are hangers, chains, and rings and other times you might just have a pair of bolts. This class is designed as a more in-depth look into the numerous types of anchors out there and how to approach each. You'll get hands-on experience building various types of anchors with a range of gear to help boost your technical climbing IQ.  While this is a gym to crag class, it will be taught indoors at a Peak Experiences location.

This is a 2-3 hour clinic.

This is an introduction to outdoor sport anchors and while it provides a solid foundation of knowledge, it cannot cover every scenario possible. Rock climbing is an inherently dangerous sport and there are more uncontrollable risks outdoors. Please exercise caution, but remember to have fun!
