Fall Flash Fest is back for another year of big sends, good vibes, and friendly competition! Join us November 21st for Peak Experiences’ annual citizens bouldering competition, featuring a $1,400 prize pool! Climbers of all levels are invited to test their skills, push their limits, and cheer each other on. Whether you're chasing the podium or just here for the fun, there's a place for you on the wall. Doors open at 2 PM—come climb, compete, and celebrate the community that makes Peak awesome!

Event Details

What:	Richmond's best citizens bouldering competition!
When:	Saturday, November 21st, 2026

You must be 16 or older to compete in Fall Flash Fest.

Everyone who enters Peak Experiences must have an active Assumption of Risks form on file, regardless of whether they are climbing or spectating!

There will be food trucks, House of Futbol (our awesome new neighbors), our Comp Team bake sale, and more!

If you aren't competing, come hang out and watch some of your friends, family and neighbors fight gravity for the day!

Peak Experiences Members: $37

All other climbers: $67

Competition Schedule

2:00 PM -	Doors open, participant check-in begins
2:45 PM -	Competition Rules and Scoring Meeting
3:00 PM -	Competition begins
6:00 PM -	Competition ends (except for Open division finalists), scorecards are due to scoring table
6:45 PM -	Awards ceremony (for non-Open divisions)
7:30 PM -	First look for Open finalists (4 minutes)
7:45 PM -	Open Finals begin
8:45 PM -	Open Finals end, Open awards ceremony

Men's Recreational (V0-V3)	Women's Recreational (V0-V3)

Men's Open (V8-V10+)	Women's Open (V8-V10+)
Men's Stone Masters (Age 40+)	Women's Stone Masters (Age 40+)

For our trans and non-binary climbing friends, we ask that you choose the division that you feel most comfortable climbing in!

We bumped the cash purse up to $1400 this year! Open division finalists that finish on the podium in both Men's and Women's divisions will receive the following:

1st Place - $400

2nd Place - $200

3rd Place - $100

For those competing in the divisions other than Open, podium finishers in each division will receive our awesome prize packages! Some of the items inside the prize packages include climbing gear, Peak Experiences merch, membership discounts/credits, gift cards, and more!

Q: What format will the competition be?
A: Modified Redpoint

Q: Can I change the division I compete in?
A: Yes, we will allow division changes within the first hour of competition. We may move competitors between divisions day-of based on demonstrated climbing ability.

Q: If I competed in the USAC Youth Comp earlier that day, can I also compete in the Citizens Comp?
A: Yes, but the minimum age is 16 and you must individually register for both.

Q: If I'm over the age of 40, can I still compete in one of the other categories other than Stone Masters?
A: Yes absolutely! We know you still crush and look forward to watching you show those kids how it's done. Being 40 or older simply grants you the ability to sign up for Stone Masters, but you can sign up for any category. It should be mentioned that you can only compete in either Stone Masters or a different category, not both!
